Training Description: In 2019, the Nevada legislature made major changes to the criminal law statutes which included the requirement that “each judge of the court receives training concerning ... [defendants’] behavioral health needs and intellectual or developmental disabilities.” (NRS 176.135(5)) 

Join Forensic Psychiatrist Melissa Piasecki to learn about the mental and developmental disabilities that are often the genesis of the criminal behavior we see in the defendants before us.
