(Recorded Webinar October 11, 2012)

Training Description: The Minimum Accounting Standards provide the courts with a policy defining requirements for financial operations, internal accounting and financial management controls. The standards are the courts self-guidance to sound internal controls which raises the level of accountability and responsibility in dealing with financial matters facing the courts, thus promoting a high level of public trust in the judiciary. In January 2012, significant changes to the Minimum Accounting Standards occurred ranging from a new document format to compliance requirements and submission changes. Whether you are a judge, county clerk, or staff member in charge of your court’s compliance with the Minimum Accounting Standards, this session will cover the most recent changes to standards and new submission requirements to ensure your court is in compliance with these important requirements.
